Yes, Fairy, something different happened to my usual way of putting the photos on, and it only happened after Hubby downloaded the photos from his camera.,very strange.
I'll keep trying to work out what's changed, but no new photos at the moment.
He hasn't got back to fiddling with the drone yet Joyce. I think the main problem is that he put it in the spare room when the family were visiting (to make more room) and then got involved in other things. Besides, we've had very strong winter winds in the last few weeks, so it would have been hopeless.
I might remind him.
One of the most irritating things about wombats is that they dig under the fences to get into a paddock, then make another digging to get out. They never use the same hole for the return journey. One way traffic only. This was especially annoying when we made new fences to keep our goats in, and we would come back the next weekend only to find two goat sized holes in the new paddock. We don't have any Angoras now, so we don't worry about repairing where they've dug.
A few views taken today - Brehon Tower with Herm closest and French Normandy approx. 30 miles away. Two views of lovely Castle Cornet with Jersey in the background.
The sea was flat calm today Joyce, the sailing club have their sessions in the morning, they look lovely with the sun on the sails. The bottom picture shows the high speed ferry coming into the harbour. It travels between St. Malo, Portsmouth and the islands. Weymouth is 70 miles, Liverpool 270 and Cherbourg in Normandy approx. 40 miles away.
I've started to photograph various cloud formations to make a file of reference clouds for my painting. I'm still trying to come to grips with iPad painting, so I thought that might give me inspiration.
This one was taken at about 3.30pm today. We are supposed to get some rain.

I thought this was very clever. The afternoon sun made a smiley face.
A slightly disturbing smiley face Pat!
Big sky photos are always great.
Didn't realise wombats could do that. Wouldn't want them in the garden....
Nothing over 2.5 MB will upload Pat.... I've tried...frequently...
so, until it's sorted, as long as your pix are smaller than that they'll be fine
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hope you have a good day.
Lovely pics Pat. An outlook onto hills is always interesting with various shadows.
Has the drone been in use yet?
Wouldn't want wombats either

GD I love those photos. I grew up in a small coastal town in southern NSW, so your photos remind me of that time. No ferriess, only fishing trawlers.
