Sorry my comments and pictures didn't post, I'll try again.
The "Hielan coos", I love any beast with a great hairdo.
I have three wild beasts living at the bottom of my hill. They happened to make an appearance yesterday when I was down there looking for driftwood on the river bank.
I see they moved the osprey nest from the zoo island to my side of the river.
The river is low so I got myself and my bike very muddy on it's banks, but found the best piece of driftwood for my fish tank yet.
A bit more scary than cows, Johnny. I think I'd give them a wide berth...
Better late than never, here are some more photos from my North Devon trip. I'd normally try to crop them a bit but can't get them to load onto my Chromebook at present, so here they are "in the raw".
- that's Lynmouth from Lynton, through the trees.
Lots of feral goats around.
Amazing rock formations.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I've loved all the photos on here and applaud you all for the pleasure they've given me. I often look in but rarely have anything of note to add. Fairy - take to the hills soon (if you can (safely)). Love the pics and jigsaws

Lovely pics Liri especially the view through the trees and the rock formations.
Glad you weren't bramble bashing all the time.
Thanks Joyce! We worked in the mornings and had the afternoons off.

Liri - you've got a great eye
Thanks, Lesley. I reckon it's easy to take a good photo in a beautiful place.
Doing the jigsaws of Fairy's photos makes me appreciate them more... always such beautiful compositions.
Liri and Johnny, great photos. Any chance of you putting them on the jigsawplanet site? I'd love to do them.
That might have to wait until I get back from Scotland in December, Pat... I'll give it a go then. Thanks for your kind remarks.
Liri - Lismore Lighthouse would make a good pic for the jigsaw too.
True, Joyce. Not sure I'll be walking down that far on this visit though - got jobs to do!
