If you could call it grass GD. The yellow is Acacia boormanii (Snowy River Wattle). The Snowy River is in our region. Those ones are self-seeded from some I planted up the hill from there about 20 years ago.
Thanks Joyce - after such a sunny afternoon this sky looks very threatening and indeed a couple of hours after this picture was taken the wind and rain were making themselves felt here!
Jigsaws on iPads? How does that work Pat? I enjoy a jigsaw or two in the winter - I still have some new ones from last Christmas - the weather is still too good to sit inside. Just a couple of pictures from today's trip to the coast. It was a perfect day after last evenings wind and rain.
GD. The jigsaws on line are really good. Type in "www.jigsawplanet.com"
i have put some of my photos on there. I think I put most of them under a NSW heading, but you can find them by topic such as - landscape, or dogs, or cats, or Autumn, or clouds, etc. etc.
theyre good, because you don't lose the odd piece nor have to set the table up with a board.
great occupation when watching totally boring on TV.
Lovely pix GD. What is the bird? We don't get those round here!
I'm intrigued by the jigsaw site Pat. might take a look later.
Haven't had time to get my pix on from yesterday. Glorious day. I'll do them tonight when I get home.
This is from the early part of the walk out of Kinlochleven though - looking back down to Loch Leven. The pointy hill on the left is the Pap of Glencoe.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Great photos Pat. 'Big sky' is always lovely, whether it's blue with fluffy clouds, or dark and menacing
That tree is really striking
Incy wincy hasn't reappeared....

A very atmospheric pic GD with the illumination of the setting sun.

That would make a nice jigsaw GD. I've only recently got back to doing them on my iPad. Great fun.

As usual, your photos are wonderful. Several years ago, I read all thevDiana Gabaldon novels so some of the names you give are a "bit" familiar.
