Oh to be so fit - walking a mile or so is about my limit now, and as for rock or mountain climbing...... I will let you do that Fairy and enjoy the lovely pictures you are sharing with us. Who needs a Country File calendar - we have it all on this Forum at the click of a button.
Happy to share, as long as people continue to enjoy them
I'm very lucky to have the chance to do it GD. Even if sometimes my body disagrees... usually at half five in the morning when I try to get it out of my warm bed....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
That's gorgeous Pat. I've said it before here, but , it's so important to look up isn't it? I think we often forget how wonderful the stuff above our head is! Cloud formations are stunning.
I'm much more aware of it when I'm on a hill on a day like Sunday. The buzzards were out and the stags bellowing up in the corries, so looking up to try and see them gives a whole new perspective.

Stunning cloud picture Pat - well caught on camera and what atmospheric photos on Arran Fairy - you could be the only person on earth right there - lovely skies, but brrrr it does look so cold.
Photo of Malus halliana 'Parkmanii'. I grafted this when I was a horticulture student many years ago. Can't remember the rootstock, but it was a class exercise to learn grafting. I'm amazed that the poor little neglected thing survives each year. I don't deserve it, but there you are, the plants are forgiving.

I took this one a couple of years ago, forget when, but that cloud was fascinating. It was spinning slowly like a top.

What a great way to think of it. I'm always looking up as well.
The different times of year make such a difference as well Pat. These are from about eight years ago
This one was summer, on An Stuc up at Loch Tay
This is on Arran in December 2008
Also on Arran at the same time - from the top of Goatfell

More damage from wind two days ago.
Congrats on the Malus Pat. Spring blossom time for you and autumn colours here.
