Re-assembled the bed for the guest room today - tricky. Been putting away sheets and towels. Went to Sainsbury's this afternoon for food supplies and bits and pieces.

Had fish, asparagus (on special offer) and flatbreads with cheese and red onion in them.

Tomorrow we are going to London by train to see the Painting Gardens exhibition at the Royal Academy with Matty and her OH. Anyone remember Matty from here? We've been friends since then and she's stayed with me in France and I've stayed with her in the West Country.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Ooh yes Lizzie, I remember Matti. How is she, hope she is well. Give her my very best wishes and a hug. x

Glad you're over your stressful day now Rb.  It's such a pain when you have to deal with people who don't know what they're talking aboutimage.  At least your snowdrops arrived to cheer you upimage.  Can't say I've any suggestions for planting them in a pot or did you mean what to plant with them?  Think I need an early nightimage.

Are the snowdrops not already potted and growing? I hope they are not dry bulbs., runnybeak.

I have been eyeing up the royal acadamy exhibition. I may hitch a lift with hubby next time he is in tge London area. Next on my wish list is a trip to Giverny.

I'm awake ... just been out there to check the temperature ... it's -1.2C at the moment and sparkly - a clear sky with wonderful bright shiny stars image
