I think your poor sleep could be related to the tension/stress of the disturbed nights you had on holiday, coupled with being a few hours adrift. It'll settle down if you keep to a routine
I must start buying lottery tickets ... OH has just said that the chap who won the 32.5 million is his old Head of Sixth Form ... apparently it couldn't happen to a nicer chap ... that's good to know
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Evening everyone, Could have had a chat last night Hosta. Didn't get to sleep until 3.00 and had to get up at 6.30 to look after grandchildren.
It was a lovely day today, very sunny and not too cold. Shame I wasn't at home to get some gardening done. Need to mulch the borders and it's not my favourite job, not great for the back.
Not in the same league Dove, but the street round the corner won the postcode lottery this week, Hubby nearly burst a blood vessel when he started to read the number out.
Evening everyone. I'm up a bit earlier today because I've got a Dr appt - just a follow up from my last bout of being sick, I think. Hopefully, I'll be able to get off the tablets she prescribed for anxiety. Don't like taking medication if I don't need it,
we're in for 36 today. It's a pity I have to go to town, but that's the way it goes sometimes. It's also HRH's 6 weekly shower and shave.
Hubby said you might be deprived of Mars bars as well as ginger nuts. There has been some problem and they've been recalled.
Won't be here tomorrow either, on Granny duty. Daughter and her OH are going to the bank to sign about the loan then to the notaire to sign the first contract for the lovely house they made the offer for.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Home from Dr. She's pleased with my progress; next appt 3 months. Have discovered that the Sertraline tabs are why I've been having menopause-type sweats every night. I can live with that if I know that there isn't something more sinister going on in my body. I must admit I was beginning to imagine all sorts of reasons. I'm to keep taking my BP tabs in half doses. No complaints here.
Hot as h...ll outside so I've turned off the soaker hose in the garden and turned the air con on In the house. Lots of sitting around planned for the rest of the day.
Glad the doctor was pleased Pat. Should be a weight off your mind
Got an evening out planned tonight with the girls I went garden visiting with (Sissinghurst/Dixter et al) last September. We are choosing where to head to for the next jaunt, so should be fun
But before that.......got a day of grafting to get through
Good morning all G'day Pat That's good news from the doctor
It's frosty here and -1.4C in the sheltered back garden. I've just been watching the full moon set in the west - it looks as if it might be a good day today ... but I've not looked at the forecast yet ......
