Well, to be fair to the surgery, you can get to see someone and I have never been refused a home visit all through mums troubles and dads now, but you get a final year student, two weeks ago he prescribed something for dad that we though was going to kill him, we stopped the tablets as soon as we saw what was happening, and an internet friend of mine who is a retired nurse said he shouldn't have been given those with what he's already taking, so I don't want a student doctor, problem is, no one else does either it seems, and I really do feel so very sorry for the main doctor to be flat out with work like that.
(comes up for air).
Lets hope you get sorted out soon Hosta, we have lots of places to go and gardens to see, you need to be walking fit by the summer.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Hi DD ((hugs)) for you and ((hugs)) for your friend. Glad he's getting through it - I know someone in the same state at the moment - showing that you care is the important thing.
Lyn ((hugs)) for you too and for your dad.
Hosta ((hugs)) glad the tests were ok.
Anyone else want any ((hugs)) ? Form an orderly queue
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I am trying to decide why I bother to have my classroom "looking nice" when its not in use because people keep coming and making a mess (read it smelt of dirty nappies and the floor was so bad I had to deep clean it) meaning I've then got to scrub it back up for the group it was originally cleaned for.
Perhaps I should leave it a bare empty room: it would at least be easier to clean!
Unfortunately like all things in life a bare empty room doesn't sell itself and I really need to start selling my room because after March my diary is looking very empty
Still the rest would do me good...
So if Dove is offering hugs I'd best start getting the cakes out. Anyone for an iced bun?
Hi Folks, Can I just say I rarely understand Edd. He is far too deep for me.
I've had a good day today, managed to give the lawns a light trim and edged them, they had dried out enough and the forecast says no frost for the next few days (fingers crossed). It's amazing what a difference it makes. Have also ordered myself a new cold frame, now I can move plants from the greenhouse to harden them off before they go outside.
Next step is seed sowing. Isn't this time of year wonderful. I'm reading Sarah Raven's book on Sissinghurst at the moment. Anyone else read it?

Hi all
The lovely day has turned to cold wind and rain
I was supposed to go out tonight but I think I'll give it a miss.
DD & Dove I think at times mental illness is worse than pain
at least for the latter you can take pain relief, obviously depending on what is wrong.
Clari dunno what to say to you about that blinking job
Just wish you'd find some place that would value your abilities and dedication.
Happy cold frame Yvie
