Hi BL, well I'm from Bury near Ramsbottom you may of heard of the old steam trains there : ). BL i would love to live in a village, I bet that was nice then, you will get to know people there and find out more about things going on : ), you sound like your really settling in : )
Hi Runnybeak Happy Valentines glad your well too : )
I've just had eggs Benedict for breakfast. Last night we had a very good Indian meal.
Today is a no diving day so we are lounging around . It should be illegal to make size 22 bikinis. There are a lot of yanks here, not surprisingly. Fortunately for them, harpooning of whales has been banned.
Yesterday on the dive boat, the dive master gave the usual announcement. We will dive as a group until the first one gets low on air, then we will come up. I said, why couldn't we just kill them and carry on. The yanks don't get sarcasm either
well I must slap on some more factor 50, see you later folks.
fidget - that made me laugh out loud - both your comments!
Glad you're having a good time though
I don't need Valentine day chocs or flowers - never bothered with it much either Wonks.....and I had this lot to make me happy
A glorious little day - if a little chilly on the top
Hosta - that was a terrible joke.
My birds are paired up - well, Dennis (robin), Denzel (blackbird) and Not Denzel (other blackbird) are anyway. Mrs Dennis appeared when I came home - looking for more grub. Greedy bandits...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
No need for one today Steve - not even crampons! Snow wasn't too deep and it was nice and soft - fresh fall yesterday. You'd have needed it on the higher hills though. I'll put some of the other pix on the camera thread later.
It's Glen Fruin, one of the Grahams - Beinn Chaorach - southern end of Loch Lomond on the way to Garelochhead. Not the bonniest hill - but you go for those views. Nice to have the only footprints on the hill too - apart from sheep and rabbits
Is it too late for me to have lunch Dove? I've had the coffee from my flask, and a banana...

News in garden spotted 2 starlings then there were 5 must be back that is brilliant and I filled the feeders today
Verdun I have my yellow cosmos seeds now, when do you start your off, please start a new thread when you start them, how they are growing, when to pinch out, you sound as though you do well with growing them
It's too late for lunch Fairy, all washed up and put away - but in a couple of hours we'll be having a New England Boiled Dinner - boiled bacon joint with carrots, leeks, potatoes and cabbage with parsley sauce - a big pot is simmering on the hob - plenty for all comers
