My little contribution to the eating of kiwi fruit - rub the hair off and eat the whole fruit with skin included. Slicing them makes it easier. I used to grow them when I lived in Canberra. You need both male and female vines.
I had a lovely lunch with daughter, think KEF asked where, it was at her house. Their house is rented, they have been house hunting, daughter took me to see the outside of a house that they've made an offer on, looked lovely.
Sorry Lyn's Dad is feeling so weak, he sounds a lovely person and Lyn is great the way she has looked after both her parents.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all we've had a hot day and we're now sitting on the eastern veranda trying to get a bit of breeze before heading back into the house for tea/dinner.
Morning Chicky, Pdoc, Edd and Dove. I'm not sure what our temp got to today - about 30 I think, but I wandered into the GH at one stage and the thermometer was on 40. I havent had any plants in there for several months thank goodness.
Morning all - afties Pat - they were showing the huge Australian tumbleweed on the news this morning. I missed hearing where it was though. It looked very strange!
Edd - go and get some help please. The X Files is a tv show....it's not real life....
No scraping (I hope) for me either chicky - I think the temps went back up. Car was frozen when I took the bin out later last night so I'm hoping it's still not covered in ice!
Nearly into March - doc - keep on hanging in there. It's got to get warmer and a bit drier soon
Thinking of you today Lyn x
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
