Absolutely beautiful here today, as long as you have several layers of clothing on.

Have been top dressing all the permanent pots, they look so much nicer, minus the weeds.

How can you lie there and think of England

Hi folks,  Everyone sounds busy today.   Comiserations re the back Marygold, know exactly how you feel.  Have been out in the garden and fish, blood and boned the borders, also pulled a few weeds and potted on some plants that arrived a couple of days ago.  Plan to have a nice hot shower to ease aches and pains and then relax.  On Nanna duty tomorrow so Firstborn can go to the library and work on here Masters (that's what she's told me anyway)image.  Sorry your Dad is feeling poorly Lyn hope he can get seen soon.

Been watching Limitless for a while now as Secondborn's partner is a big fan and downloads it via his phone.

Hi for once I'm a happy person image

SM run done in record time and then into GH, a good sweep up done and some plants needed water. Brain thinking about how many aubergines to grow this year, and which toms. Seed spuds chitting indoors I ran out of egg boxes so improvised and cut up loo roll cardboard that I'd saved for Daleks so some spuds look like boiled eggs in eggcups image

Runny I can't weed yet grass is a bog image

Pdoc glad you've been O/s it has been lovely image

Lyn hugs, I'm not sure how to phrase this image I'll just pile in..do you think your dad has given up ? I know tomoz' would be your mum's birthday and you'll all feel so upset..whatever, love from me x

Oh no KEF, he wants to do so much, he's completely with it, no problems there, just completely washes out and drained. He wants to do things, he does try to have a walk around, and has started using a walking stick.  He's asking me what seeds I have to plant and what to do with the soil.

How marvelous of you to remember about mums birthday, she would have been 88 but she had a good life, very busy housewife in the olden days,  so she deserves a good rest now.image

Lyn I'm happy to hear that image I hope they get their blinking fingers out and contact you. If you don't hear anything book an appointment and take him to the surgery (he won't like it)  one would think that a G.P is still able to take a blood test !! Anyone over the age of 70 is entitled to be seen annually by a G.P either at home or in surgery !!

My mum is 88 this year ..so I remember our oldies image Sometimes mum is lethargic she has low sodium levels diagnosed after bloods. Some salty food and she's fine..me on blood pressure tablets and restricting salt intake image

Evening all. Feel I should do that knee bending thing Dixon of Dock Green did now....image

Lyn - tomorrow will be hard - I hope you're ok. It's a miserable time of year so perhaps some spring weather will help your Dad. Getting outside and doing even a couple of tiny things will help his spirits xx

Sky turned very black when I got in - hail, thunder and horrible sleety rain arrived. My neighbour has cut her grass....it doesn't look very promising.....image

I used to be able to sleep at the drop of a hat too RB. Certain situations changed that and I'm now used to not getting a decent sleep,  but it's horrible if you feel knackered and can't sleep. Hosta - did you see my post about eating a few kiwi fruit in the evening?  Apparently it does work. Couldn't pay me enough to eat them image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
