Wonky that must have been a grim and very difficult time for you. To leave your precious collections

    obviously you are a survivor!

thank you for your kind wishes. They are appreciated

sad but I have noticed how many"  friends" are not in touch, they just don't know what to say. I pray I never become someone like that! and my dearest friend is still in a horrible place so I do feel rather alone

LP, So sorry to hear that some "friends" don't keep in touch at a time when you need them.  I suppose that is the test of true friendship.  They don't need to say much but just be there. . . . even ten minutes on the phone can help.

Enjoy having your daughter and gd with you for the week and it's good that you will be going to London later.

Wonky never ceases to amaze me - she looks like such a fragile little thing, and has had some difficult health problems, but she has an inner core of steel, she never lets life's difficulties get her down and is always the first person to offer help when someone needs it  ... I am so proud of her image

Lilyp! We are your friends and very much real! You don't get to understand someone just by meeting them face to face but by listening to them! And as we only have the medium of writing, that's what we do! Big, very real hugs to you! X
