It works. It's looking great DD and so tidy. Cute lambs.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Thanks Lizzie. Careful camera angle. image Lambs were really cute though.image  See you at Kevin's btw.

Streptocarpus. I've had this plant since about 1990. It still keeps on growing and flowering. I did a painting of it one year. The colour was really difficult to mix, but I got it in the end. Sold the painting but still make greeting cards from it.

We drove out to the back of our place this afternoon, and Hubby thought you might like to see some photos of one of the Eucalyts doing its annual bark shred.

That will do, can't get another to upload undeformed.

My garden seems pretty much bang on time comparing with last year's pics - how are everyone else's doing? Are many people still ahead?

P.S forgot to admire your nest Fritillary, how exciting!image

Great pic of the bark Pat  image

Great to have that nest Frit - I'm sure Mr and Mrs Long tail know what they're doing....

    Fingers crossed anyway! image

My garden is about the same as usual  too Vic - spring bulbs slowed down after a bit of early growth end of the year, snowdrops were possibly later, but not much. I looked at pix from last year and the crocus are about the same time. No daffs yet, as is the norm. Tulips just coming through a few inches.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Pat's bark photo looks like a painting.

My garden hasn't changed much since the last photos, but most of the daffodils are on the way out. Magnolia Leonard Messel is coming out. At least it's drying up since all that rain.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I'm glad you both liked the photos. It's interesting to drive through the eucalypts at this time of year. There are different kinds and they have different ways of shedding.

I got a surprise this morning when I went out to give my Broccolini seedlings a drink. They have a visitor getting warm in the sun. It was 9 c this morning. Luckily it is on the front verandah, not the back verandah where the snake was yesterday. It might been gobbled up.
