Lovely pix Julie - you've put a lot of work into your garden. Really paying off  image

Wet here too flumpy. It's been so cold here that the grass hasn't grown too much since last weekend though. Every cloud, as they say...literally!  image

Good to see your photos here Jacqueline. It's a great thread for seeing loads of different ideas and styles isn't it? image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Warm and wet here so my grass is coming up curly!! It's lovely to see everyone else's successes though. image

Lovely  B3.  Pleased to see that you also use terracotta pots that are on the 'way out'. image

Don't sell yourself short B3. It looks terrific. image

Rain's stopped play here again but I managed a couple of pix

I may eventually regret allowing a bit of Alchemilla in here, but I deadhead it ruthlessly and it's fine. I rather like it tumbling over the end of this bed, and it works well with the Phormium and the grasses in the adjacent bed

First sweet pea Juliet. Or rather, the second. First one was sugary pink, which I loathe,  and it had me worried for a while. Hopefully just one rogue seed image

A view back from the window in the screen. The path is on a slope - the grass and raised bed are both 'true'  image

Grass is now mown too image

I like the 'gentle' colour of the sweet pea FG.  I have various clumps of achilea  plants and also the dwarf one and shear them right back before they seed. I find them to be useful fillers and love the water droplets on the leaves.

I've also hacked back that geranium at the front Joyce. It was also a filler, one of the few things in this garden initially, and will be replaced by something I'll choose. image

I love the water on the alchemilla too - and the acid coloured flowers. They're a great foil with purples.
