Lots of scope for change. What do you have in mind?

TThinking about putting raised bed all along lefthand side and up to the garage, raised beds to give them a start to get higher than fence for screening, Not quite sure what to do infront of the garage as it doesn't belong to me so can't damage the wall and can't plant too close to allow access. Why do builders use part of the neighbours garage to form the boundary - penny pinching image

Yes Joyce some scope but nothing like my very private large southfacing garden - thanks for replying image

all design ideas welcome I was thinking about removing the gravel and having grass as I miss it but am not sure, especially about the maintenence now my joints are so bad and since the reason I moved in the first place was that I couldn't do all the maintenence in my old garden there were lots of hedging etc needing regular trimming plus my old magmolia which I loved but needde trimming each year etc   oh I am sounding like a right moaner but my garden was my sanctuary a source of pleasure and privacy.

A series of raised beds with gravel paths?  Easier maintenance and the chance of sitting to work at them.

Thanks Joyce, I can't for the life of me decide how to lay it all out I think I'l have to live with it for a summer to see how the sun works. Envious of all the gardens on here with grass, shrubs etc and most of all some privacy image
