Beautiful sweet peas flumpy, you have trained them well - they look good against the fence, just the right height and the colour of the flowers really stands out against the background. My sweet peas are just a big mess this year - grown in pots (as recommended on the packet), but I won't grow them like this again.
Your clematis is similar to ours Fairygirl - I haven't taken a picture of it yet, so can't compare on here - you have plenty of flowers - lovely.
The secret of doing them in pots is to have other things complementing them GD. The soil and weather here can be inhospitable for sweet peas, so pots ensure a better result for me.
I often group them with other pots, or with seating etc. This was from a couple of years ago, before I'd done the back lawn. They were yet to start flowering properly, but they were all white. I usually grow Cupani (purple) which are always reliable. Smaller than many of the others but highly scented. Having a few pots of other colour as well means you can move stuff around according to what's in flower through the changing season.
EV is very prolific - hard to beat for coverage too. That one is getting moved though. It'll get the chop in late winter, if not before!
Lovely photos flumpy
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thank you GD & FG, I got my advice on how to grow them from Marion, she guided me well then, my sweet peas are not in direct sun so I don't know if this helps with the growth, the soil is never dried out.
I took more photos at the weekend from my garden..............
Catching up after being away for a few days. I love to have a glimpse of of other people's gardens... It's lovely to see how we combine the same plants in different ways!

Just sharing some of my pictures from my garden, they are on other parts of the forum, but it was suggested to me to put them on this link.

Wow beautiful garden Julie Lanteri and I thought that mine was hardwork, yours is beautiful. How do you do it?
1 or 2 taken this evening
A freebie growing in entirely the wrong place but seemed to be happy so left it.
As you can see it is now starting to flower, a good strong plant with 5" diameter flowers
A newly extended border.
