  • Thank you for the lovely comments ☺️

I am at home with the little ones so i spend as much time in the garden as i can. It keeps me sane! I'll have to show you what it was like when we moved 4.5y ago... There is still a lot to do (trying to hide that on the photographs?)

Lovely healthy sweetpea, FG. I also like alchemilla, it seems to "go" with a lot of plants and styles.

gorgeous pictures GD, especially the anemone de Caen with the raindrops.

Another vote for untidy and blousy BL! Fabulous!

Arvagh, just outside Cavan. Usually lucky with the weather, apart from a couple of times when we got snowed in. We're up the hill so waders not usually necessary!

    In London. Keen but lazy.

One of my besties is from Ballinagh in County Cavan. It's about 15mins from Arvagh. We work together in Belfast. :-)

Wellies are for tourists FG. Every night they'd be upside down on sticks and in the morning there they'd be....damp and full of earrywigs!!! My feet? Dry and warm and toasty. My flip flops, dry and ready to go! Simpoles! image

The problem with wellies is that, if you wear them long enough, they're just as wet on the inside....image

Thought I should get the thread back on track in case we get a row....image

...and yes, I need more gravel for the areas that have been cleared...more hard labour!   image

Fairy, what compost do you use for your pinks?  I've never had much success with them and I love the perfume.

I just use multi purpose Joyce. I do deadhead frequently, and they've had a liquid feed of tomato food, as they're not getting too much from the compost as it's not been renewed this year.  I had a little one in the ground round the corner- on the path beside our deck steps. It was very happy. Poor soil and good drainage and neglect  image

I intend doing the same with those ones - they'll go at the edge of the new south facing  bed, to cover the lump of concrete I can't get out!
