    Not in my garden, but spotted in someone else's front border. I usually like my tulips the 'traditional' shape, but the voluptuousness and colour of this one blew me away! Don't know what it's called.

    Hi Chicky, the purple tulip in the first photo is called 'Burgundy' I bought it from Taylors. The orange one with it is Ballerina.  It's been my favourite colour combination so far this year.

    Guernsey donkey, the Brugmansia is Brugmansia sanguinea... supposedly better for colder climates, but not as easy to propagate, i find, as Brugmansia candida.

    The tree peony looks like P. lutea var.  ludlowii
