Some great pictures over the past week or so, give me more ideas and combos . Very impress with VS Eremurus dont see many. I,ve not got to many plants flowering at the moment but for some huge allium Christopii and some others, give about 10days - 2weeks and all my heleiums will be open I can see the odd Mbeauty open now.
Anemone de Caen - pleased with these - bargain offer at the local DIYKnapweed - yes a weed, but one that attracts a huge amount of bees and hover flies into our wild area.
Rudbeckia Toto Gold
I had never grown, let alone noticed these before - a real colourful boost to our garden. Nemesia
Just gorgeous GD. Aren't hoverflies the most beautiful insects?
I like Centaurea - you're right - brilliant for insects. Camera's getting plenty of use too GD!
Thank you flumpy and B3. Restful is what I need in the garden. The pots are normally at the side of the path (going left to right) flumpy - I moved them when they were delivering my bed in case they just sent the whole lot flying. Haven't moved them back yet - they weigh a ton!
The Etoile Violette clematis is flowering quite a bit on that fence, but it's a bit hard to see in that photo. Think I posted a pic of it recently though. The alpina growing alongside it is also flowering a little again.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thank you for your comments Joyce & Fairygirl - I guess we all love our gardens at this time of year, so much colour and growth going on, I know what you mean about pots weighing a ton - I have put my back out twice this year from moving heavy pots that I could quite easily manage last year so be careful or ask for help Fairygirl.

I'd been looking at achileas earlier today!

We're going away soon and I'm dreading hauling the pots into the shade.
GD I love the blue flower, blue is my favourite colour : )
Ff hey at least your delivery men would have a soft landing on the mattress : ), (only joking)
B3, are you going anywhere nice? We just came back from Menorca two weeks ago.
