Very well GWRS TY! I do hope your doors turn into days! Did my gardening in the conservatory today getting it ready for te winter - lots of glass cleaning and shelf polishing.
Another dull damp morning in Bristol so looks like I will be grdening in the conservatory again. I need to sow some more cut and come again salad leaves. My lunch during the winter will be lacking somewhat if I do not.
Yes Joyce loads of berries on the pyracantha this year, in fact loads of berries everywhere and out in the hedgerows. Of my twelve regular bird visitors only one wood pigeon is deigning to come for breakfast as the hedges are so laden with food for them now. My friend has emailed me a picture of his ipomoea which has reached the gutter and says he will soon have blue flowers in his gutter. He is pleased with his new pelargoniums that have flowered for him - Purple Unique, Scarlet Unique, Bolero, Duchess of Devonshire Madame Nonin.
Pelargoniums, known commonly as tender geraniums to distinguish them from our hardy geraniums like Rozanne and Johnson;s Blue. He will have to bring them in shortly to the spare room windowsill where he overwinters them. He also has a White Unique which is looking sickly and has not flowered.
Why not treat your small pelargoniums as houseplants? Keep them on a warm windowsill that gets plenty light in the day and bring them away from the glass at night. in a warmish room with water every fortnight orso they will go on growing and perhaps flowering for you well by next May. I have filled thefirst windowsill in my conservatory with tender plants today - only five more to fill then the table and then the big pots can come in to the floor.

Good morning Marion. It's another pleasant day here with a breeze. . . . the washing will get dry.
I'm sitting in the kitchen looking out at a pyracantha laden with orange berries. The blackbirds wont leave them for much longer.

Marion, your friend's morning glory will be the talk of the street!! I didn't realise it could grow to such a lofty height.

Good afternoon , hope you are keeping well
Autumn seems to have really started now
I was given some small pelargoniums on Sunday and thought about over wintering them in greenhouse , any tips would be appreciated ?
