Hello, Flumpy.  I bet you are brown already.  We have been pretty lucky in Bristol missing the  worst of the rain though Cheltenham had flash floods that closed the schools and flooded the station.  I bet the pelargoniums are all in full flower in Menorca.  Looking forward to your pictures.

Damp garden again this morning though it is dry at the moment.  The foecast for today is wet in the morning but a dry sunny afternoon but it was wrong yesterday!  There is an early yellow warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms for tomorrow though.  I am being vigilant as i do not want to get caught at the end of my long garden in a downpour.

The sun is shining here, Marion after our very welcome rain yesterday.  I hope it stays dry for you to get into the garden. I can now get some plants into well watered soil.

The rain has started Joyce.  Yes the rain was needed.  i am sure my head high weds will pull out easily now too.  The green wheeliebin is stuffed full for Friday's emptying but i can fill up the weed baskets and line them up for a bit.  Luckily I can reach a lot of them from the paths.  Priority is to get the thistles pulled out before they seed everywhere.

A dru garden to wake up to today and still quite sunny and dry and no wind out so will venture further from the house this morning but will be sure to watch out for the rain coming as we have a yellow warning for downpours again though we were lucky to miss them all yesterday.  Makes you feel a bit on tenterhooks this unpredictable weather.

I have been pulling out weeds taller than myself till my back would take no more so took some pictures.  My pink rose called "Maid Marion" has a knock-out scent that soon makes you forget backache.

oh such a lovely moth in my conservatory this morning.  They are much easier to photograph than butterflies!  A similar day to yesterday weatherwise so i will have to watch for rain clouds.

That's a beauty, Marion. Damp here this morning but hoping to get some work done outside.

While I was watching the England versus Wales game and as usual rooting for both, my plants I ordered on Tuesday came and the courier could not make me hear so kindly took them next door for a signature.  Nine lovely big plants for just over £14!  I had three  each of Monarda "Fishes", Lavatera "Barnsley Baby" and Phytostegia virginiana  " Rose Queen" all from the Secret Gardening Club of course.  They are now all potted up and watered.

Another showery day ahead and heavy rain forecast for the afternoon but my first dahlia flower of Melody Dora is open and beautiful and the dianthus and French marigolds too.
