Evening Marion, sounds like you've had a nice day, glad they enjoyed there Sunday lunch, it's been raining all day here too, yesterday it was snow and looks like rain for most of the week too .
lets hope the week after is dry because I'm off and want to get started in the garden
February has blown in. Another mild but dampish day with strong winds. I think any gardening will be by the kitchen door so i can easily retreat indoors. No doubt there will be more bits off my trees to pick up soon. The wind does as much pruning as I do.
Cold and wet this morning but the wind has dropped and the forecast is for brighter weather from 10ish. I hope to start planting out some of my new perennials. The waft of perfume from this corner of the conservatory this morning cheered me no end though I was chiding myself for not switching on the heater last night when I saw the temperature. Luckily no harm done.
Pictures in the morning reminds me of High ho Silver and the Gaumont on a Saturday morning! Enjoy GWRS. I have planted three "Liriope" plants and will do Three Polymonium Yeziense after coffee. In doing so I weeded out hundreds of Celandines which come out so easily now they have some leaves and the soil is like butter. Still thousands to go but they do look glorious when they flower. If I try to average three perennials per day for the whole month of February I should have caught up with the backlog. I like to get every perennial out of its pot by March not only as i need the big pots for summer bulbs but to thwart the pests that like pot grown plants like vine weevils.

Good morning all
My goodness what a windy day. I ventured out to spread manure but the wind was taking my breath away so did not stay long. Very, very mild still.
Went on an organised walk this morning sunny and a bit windy on high ground but it has slowly got worse and is now howling out side
