What a dismal start to the week.  Monday has dawned dreich, drab, dank, damp, dark and  draughty, not at all shipshape and Bristol fashion so I drowned myself in lily perfume and alliteration and feel better now.  At least some watering has been done for me.  image

Lovely as ever, Marion.  I bought a similar colour hydrangea last week for a pot on the patio.

Sunshine and showers forecast for us in Bristol again today but a cooler night to come.  I see a Barnsley Babe mallow has opened its first white buds this morning so must plant it up in a big pot with some white begonias round it for the front garden display.  I must harvest the last of the blackcurrants too and there are loads of broadbeans again needing picked plus loads of new flowers on the plants so they look like going on for some time.  Come to think of it I was picking broad beans and runner beans together last year too.

GWRS your pictures are lovely.  I love orange and yellow together  and red added really makes a hot border.  We had a light shower but faired up again now so did my big pot and the flower of Barnsley Baby is white with a pale pink splodge in the middle.  I will snap it when a few more open up.
