Oh that's a gorgeous coloured chaenomeles - what's its name?

PS I  found my snowdrops image. I need to get some more before the house is sold.

The huge chaenomeles was here in the garden when we moved here 52 years ago, LG.  So glad the snowdrops have appeared.

    Gorgeous pictures, love the blackbird

That blackbird is very tame, behaves like a robin.  He waits on one of my patio chairs looking at the kitchen door every morning till I come out with some food. The rain has just started and is forecast to go on all day with wind gusts of over forty mph so no getting out in the garden today.  I am so glad I got the green wheeliebin filled up yesterday.  It will soon be February when I hope to start planting my new perennials out in my borders and beds.

Wow just look at the colour of this gerbera leaf as it dies!  Hyacinths flowering in the conservatory and four colours of primulas from my tiny plug plants. Camellia buds not quite open yet.

Another very  dark wet and windy morning with a yellow warning from the Met, office for heavy rain in Bristol upto 6pm, so no gardening outside today.  I will do some deadheading in the conservatory and some housework to keep me active.  I could look through my seed packets and see what I need to buy for the coming season.

Hi Marion it's been very windy and rainy here but seems to be calming down a little, tomorrow doesn't look too good tho, more rain, hope you've had a nice day gardening today Marion?, did you get all your dead heading done? : )

Yes flumpy, conservatory all tidy.  The rain did not stop all day!  Colder tomorrow but drier too.  No two days seem to be the same nowadays.  Roll on spring now.

Yes I can't wait too, I keep looking back on all our pictures from our summer gardens, I've got a week off in two weeks so going to tidy the dead plants up and sow my sweet peas : )
