Oh what a despicable thing to do to steal your hanging baskets and deprive your neighbours of the pleasure of seeing them as well as you.  They were probably sold very cheaply at a boot fair the next morning.  And your neighbours can get help to rehome the swarm of bees from the professionals who will be only too pleased to save the bees which are under great threat from loss of habitat and suitable food.  The local council will have the number to call.

Dark and damp this morning though very warm.  The green wheeliebin will be emptied later so I will be able to fill it up again from the logjam piling up and the patio will be tidy again.

Very warm already and set to reach 22 or 24 in Bristol but dry at the moment.  Rain is forecast for through the night tonight so might plant out some of my bargain begonias and my agapanthus .  My new potatoes should come out of their bag like Monty's last night but that will have to wait till i have the help of a visitor as my big potato bag full of compost is too much for me to move.

Raining steadily here too, but I have to go out and pick the fruit... daren't leave it a day or the squirrels find it!  They take a bite out of the ripest side of each strawberry.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Hi Marion, sounds like you've got nice weather there, it's heavy rain here so I can only do inside work, I'm desperate to get the lawn cut and shrubs trimmed back, plus all this rain isn't doing my flowers any good image.

I am having to water all my pots, especially the sweet peas as it got quite hot when the sun came out.  We are supposed to get rain tonight but I could not risk that being enough for the pots.

No rain last night but it is dull and overcast this morning so there may be a little drizzle.  It looks like i will be watering pots again today.

Morning Marion, it's grey but dry here at the moment, but it didn't stop raining until very late, I'm hoping it will stay dry so I can cut the lawn, hope it cheers up for you Marion, it's still very warm isn't it : )
