Only 3 degrees this morning but bright sunshine and dry garden at last.  My spirits are quite lifted despite the cold.  I should be able to visit the whole of my garden today and see what is thriving.  The squirrels are out already and the birds.  It is very calm and peaceful.

Yes TY GWRS.  Lovely up there in the brilliant sunshine where the pristine white plum blossom and snowdrops were especially beautiful.  Not too cold at 10degrees.

My nine perennials I ordered on Tuesday from the Secret Gardening Club have just arrived - red, white and blue - hemerocallis,  vinca minor and platycodon.  After a quick lunch I will get out again and see to them.

It has rained through the night so a wet scene out there this morning with a few things strewn around by the wind which is still gusting at 40 odd mph.  Rain forecast till it is dark .  Still very mild at 10degrees and set to climb to 12 but I will not venture out in that wind.  My books I had for Xmas are calling me.  Next best thing to being among my plants is reading about them.  The camellia bud that is fully open in the conservatory is quite beautiful so will take its picture and post it later.

Good morning. Dry but very windy here.

There's not a lot in my garden at the moment (mid 'makeover'), but these wee things have cheered me up no end this morning:

A perfect pair LG.  I have taken a few pics in the conservatory which is nice and warm too so will be reading in there among the flowers.
