All these we entered using the GW 2 for 1 card. Especially worth it for Eden

The lsat garden is just around an ordinary house - a gardeners garden

No they were very small and in a wild flower area - sorry picture isn't very clear - a little like very tiny antirrihnums but not - hope that makes sense

    Thanks for answering

Found out the little flowers I like are Toadflax.

Yesterday visited Hidcote. Came home with loads of ideas, only managed to buy one plant though but they do have a brilliant GC

Verdun - it's the 2nd to last pic. I have that yellow flower, scabious waiting to go in and  white feverfew - not sure what the white flower was but it was similar. It was humming with bees and butterflies. With not too much effort - dig up some lawn and cut back the huge lilac (it won't miss them) I could easily make a copy of border.. The yellow flower is already planted and can't be moved again as since its last move (it has had several) it is not looking happy. Also the area is a bit of a dead area at the moment, can easily extend it across as well i'm thinking, and I love tall yellow Mullein (verbascum)

Bought one in Cornwall ready for planting as well- a bombowhatsit!

It is also the fact that the perennial areas are tall, not layered so you can be in them and not be seen , love the look of it but haven't the flowering succession right for that yet.

With the nicotiana I have at present (temporary) I get that effect and want to do it in a more permanent way

Matty, I think those little plants might be annual linarias

These are from Bramdean House. An NGS garden. Beautiful borders but to me somehow seemed to lack soul.image

These are from Hampton Court Castle and Gardens. The original one built in 1434. Well worth a visit. Grand, beautiful and plenty of soul image
