Hello, KEF. Leaving England on Wednesday, staying with daughter in North of France, home on Friday. Didn't see the sheep killer plant.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

We went to Pashley Manor today. Beautiful, tranquil, very English. Bother, won't upload again. I'll start again.

May10th this year I was a guest of the Nat, Trust for the day at Hanbury Hall.  Last week I visited The Stone House Cottage Garden anf John Massey's Garden at Ashwood Nurseries, next month I visit a tropical garden and water gardens in Dorset.  Then it is gardens in Oxfordshire and Westonbirt in Gloucestrshire.  When my broadband has been upgraded I will post some pictures.  Oh, and on my 85th birthday in August I get taken to any garden of my choice by my son's partner.and my gardening buddy.

Busy LIzzie... I'm glad to see you went to Pashley Manor, I wondered if you might... it's not quite as I remember it for some reason, seems even bigger...  happy holidays...

  • Hello happymarion, I shall be interested in your views on  the 2 Dorset gardens you are to visit in July. I think I know which ones you mean and look forward to hearing how much you enjoy them.
