Tulips. I don't hate them as such but they always look false to me...plastic and gaudy.
I've got some unpopular shrubs though. Forsythia, photinia and ribes. We planted those in 1998 though when we moved here. If I could replant them I'd have native shrubs. We have a self set Ash though
It's not the plants I hate, it's the whole, lobelia and alysum backed with red Salvia. I'm sure some folk have been doing this for about 50 years. They're not wearing the same clothes, or watching the same TV set , why don't they move on?
I always have felt obliged to do a couple of hanging baskets (not sure who I was obligated to!) until last year, i threw a wobbly and instead made a sempervivum hanging ball, OK it's gonna take a few years to completely fill out, but hanging on the patio underneath an acer i think it looks great......my husband Is less than impressed!!

It's not a garden unless it's slightly haphazard and looks like a hunts just gone through it. Who plants in rows?
I like hanging baskets but only one or two and as RB and Beaus say lovely and full and well watered.
I've seen some houses covered in hanging baskets, looks awful. But thats my opinion they obviously love it. Each to their own
Don't like elephant ears either.
I like everything - until it doesn't thrive, then I hate it.

Dislike Lupins - I'll go elsewhere now I know it;s contentious
Do like 'interesting hanging baskets, have gone off begonias but I have so many I am still growing them this year
Matty - i never used to like lupins, but have been converted by the single colour ones (as opposed to the bicolours)
like lots of hanging baskets round the eaves of a country pub, but not keen elsewhere

How about those plant pouches that hang on the walls? I've got two and they look nice
