Sweet peas?  Ooh I love sweet peas, they are one of my very favourites. But we can't all like the same, I like some plants depending on thier colour.....love roses but not weird coloured ones like mauve image

i like hanging baskets but say just one by front door not a whole garden full! And I hate how if you don't water twice a day they look dead!

I love blue roses bit don't like blood red ones. Yes shadow weaver- elephants ears- yeuch! Ergh, the though of lifting a leaf...it's almost putting me off heucheras now!
  • I suspected sweet peas were going to be contentiousimage Perhaps I need to give one or two a go next year and see if I still feel the same way! There's just something about them that doesn't 'click' with me, though! Echoing Star Gaze Lily, it'd be boring if we all liked the same things (even if I don't always choose wisely) image

@CharlieBot...... don't worry about the Heucheras. Completely different kettle of fish! Blue lagoons and hedgehogs under there, not slugs, I'm sure image

My neighbour keeps inviting me to admire his tiny garden, planted with neatly regimented rows of bedding, backed by "blue" roses.  image  But he loves it... so I do my best to say the right thing.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
