    Really dont like bi coloured flowers or plants with yellow foliage, but as we know, things change as the years go by image

    No I don't either Susan, there seems to be a lot about tho! Noticed a neighbour had one hung up at Christmas with lights on! Thankfully it came down in the New year.image

    If pointless was to have a category pointless shrubs surely laurel would win. Its a pointless shrub if ive ever seen one

    I have a beautiful Laurel hedge Mark and its looking fab at the moment!!

    Ive got laurel, think its a thug and a real pain in the behind to prune as you shouldnt use trimmers on it, the leaf cutter bees seem to like it tho image



    Feel the same as oldtyke about flowering currant and berginia, but grow them as an early pollen source, also quite useful they will grow in shade image

    the gross-and i do mean gross-overplanting of daffodils. boring and that awful foliage just doesn't go away.

    Which just goes to show how different we all are...  image  but not grumpy, I think, Verdun.  Others are welcome to grow the things I don't like, if they want.
