It's a term from my gardeners dictionary 1/4 inch tall with two little leaves, laying prostrate on the soil .I don't think they are sleeping they look sick
Ok I'll give them a chance in small propagator with just room heat not heated propagator. I know they were a freebie but I would like to nurture them a little.
What ever you do if you sow margaritas don't let them self seed They are smashing big white daisies and I had vases full all season.BUT!!!I didn't pick all the flowers and this spring I have seedlings everywhere ,every scrap of spare soil,in the veg beds, and even around any of the potted shrubs nightmare (if only all my other platelets were as good)

Hi
You could move them to somewhere hotter/cooler and see, may just be conditons aren't quite right
I keep my seed compost in kitchen
so it is room temp - do have a big kitchen though!
Always use room temp water as well, didn't used to but I read it somewhere and it does seem to make a difference.

Thank you for making me wiser primrose
