    Gardengirl, thats brilliant. image

I only planted mine out last week. They are currently about 8 inches tall.image

I intend dropping a few seeds in at the base of the sticks. If the voles don't eat them, I'm hoping for late flowers.

I have six copper jugs on the  way from ebay, for putting the flowers in for the wedding. I bought brass polish tonight. A fair bit of elbow grease needed I think.

Hi, cut flowers seem to be coming on brilliantly for folks. After the daffs, snow drops and muscarri have gone, I've got a few sweat peas on the go, but nipped out tonight and cut some wild cow parsley, as suggested by Sarah Raven. Looks and smells lovely. I'm delighted!

My first batch of cosmos and ammi majus are planted out now. Dahlias, delphiniums, centaurea, astrantia, nigella, sweet peas, knautia and roses are all full of promise. Zinnia, sunflowers and larkspur are all growing on ok. Cutting patch...my whole garden is a cutting patch!
