I am going to as well this year I did some last year but last year was my first year gardening again as I stopped for about 3 years, I got lots of sweetpeas but I am having more this year!
Hello Flower Girl3 I got lots of sweet peas some planted some still to be planted and lots of other seedlings for cutting - it will be nice to bring some flowers indoors
Matty2 have you got lots of larkspur germinated? how long they take this time to germinate?
Matty, I have sown 9 pots of sweet peas about two weeks ago and they are only just coming though they take so long and I have no patience! I have also sown three types of lavender and that is taking ages to grow though!! I covered them over with a thin layer of compost which your not meant to do!! I am and impatient gardener!!
Yeah, I've got seedlings coming up now, would you do one seed per plant? Sweet peas so that I looked in the morning and there was nothing there and then looked in the evening and found I had some coming up!! yay!!!
I haven't planted any out yet, I have just potted on my free zinnia seeds yesterday and went to the garden center today and got a couple of plants mainly of the food variety and some flowers! Pretty!!!!
Hi all I've been out of the loop on this thread for a wee while. But Planted out all my annuals and summer bulbs at the weekend in my new cutting patch. I've got sweet peas, sunflowers, gladiolius, lilies, antirrhinum, cosmos, rudbeckia, zinnias, nicotiana, Ammi majus, dill, euphorbia Oblongata, Tithonia. Have I gone over the top! Oh, and I also have potatoes, peas and broad beans in there. And dahlias growing In pots. It's been loads of work and a few failures, but hopefully will come good.

Lavender may take some time as it's a shrub
Sweet peas I find suddenly appear but don't take too long - good luck.
I sowed some in pots in January and just put a few in as a back up direct to soil a couple of days ago.
