Now I've sent a post I've suddenly had an email for this thread although no one has written in it since me!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • does picking up bits of three doors downs fence and polycarbonate greenhouse count? it was a tad windy over the weekend!  image

BL , sometimes the system blocks them for no reason that I can understand , it has happened a couple of times to me , so every so often I check my settings image

Good to hear you are busy gardening , do paper work at moment and then 2 days of difficult meetings , would much prefer to be in garden image

Not today, but on Saturday afternoon a few of us destroyed - sorry, converted into firewood -  three cypress trees that were encumbering the curate's garden.  What a difference!

...and that was after digging a big trench for a new hedge in the morning.  Tired?

Yep.   Considerably aided by the curate's wife's tea, home-made crumpets and millionaire's shortbread image

A good day to garden here but needed to start Xmas shopping. Wish I'd stayed home gardening instead.image

Have been weeding and planting out little spring bedding plants.

I've been outside most of the day. Have spread the old mowings pile, the old leaf pile and a bin full of homemade compost, all mixed up, onto the long border.
