Done a bit early start dealing with number one son's Magnolia(painted his lounge does that count ) on the way home popped into GC can't pass by asked about Myrtle with no luck,so settled for more seeds,T&M one p Borage full price, one p 99p and one p for free, what a bargain picked up maxicrop never used it before but gardening chap on radio swears by it, got 20geranium plugs bright red .I lost everyone of mine this winter spent the afternoon in the greenhouse sowing and potting on (too cold and damp outside) feet up now waiting to armchair garden with Monty and Nigel
Put up 2 Trellis, sorted out some guttering into the water butt and build a wooden planter. Scratched my head whilst trying to pick suitable locations for a few pot plants I've got. I then finished off potting up bare root Agapanthus, Echinacea and Convallaria.
Afternoon. I've mooched around this morning, enjoying all the new growth in the garden. And continued digging out the new bed and extending the borders, its progressing well but I'm still nowhere near completing it yet! The new garden arch arrived yesterday, so if OH can be coerced to help I will be having fun erecting that this afternoon.
Not done very much today. Too cold out there. Trimmed the lavender back and raked out the dead moss from the last treatment, not much there, it's finally starting to look like a lawn rather than a patch of grass.
Set up bamboo canes and planted some sweet pea seedlings in the garden. It was hard work! I sowed way too many sweet pea seeds - must sow less next time, and probably straight into the garden will be much easier.
