Dead headed masses today, cut back early lavender and tied in loose plants.

weeded, cut some flowers and tried to tidy greenhouse.

    absolutely shattered!

Just been outside to quickly do some deadheading and it's the first day for me that feels like autumn is coming along. I absolutely love the time in between seasons.

I agree that the between seasons are lovely. The prunus in the village has burst into pink and in the surrounding hills, there's golden wattle everywhere. We're expecting rain for a couple of days, so that'll be good - less cold in the morning.image

Tootles , definitely got an autumn feel , drop in temperature , hoping to do some dead heading and grass cutting today , after  trip to B & Q , need some cement

don't known whether to dig up an old rose or hard prune it to see if it comes back bushy ?

Pat E , as seasons change and the trees go golden brown is really lovely image

I'm keeping my eyes on the Pinoaks we planted in the driveway. They usually let all the brown leaves go in quick succession, when the new green ones push them off.  image
