Finished digging up and digging over my raspberry patch, had a clear up round the shed (must tidy it inside soon), cut some old hazel poles into kindling, spent a lot of time standing and looking wondering where to start next.... so much to do but so many places where I just will not be able to step on the soil for weeks.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Lovely sunny day here too in Bedfordshire--have been tidying up the 'resting' area & giving some shooting bulbs in pots some top soil to keep them happy; gave a veg plot a good dig after removing piles of cat dirt & have covered area with prickly branches as a last resort to deter cats from visiting. Also planted a few seeds in propagator in greenhouse just to satisfy my itching fingers!!! Strolled round garden & was amazed at how many signs there are of new growth---made my day complete!   image

  • Did some planting today, some stuff sat about in pots and moved a couple of things since the ground was defrosted.

Noticed my first clutch of seeds have hatchedimage and sowed some pink linaria. Hope they're first year flowering - need them for this yearimage

Also had a brilliant idea for the top of the garden so tomorrow I'll be scrapping the current bed before it's even had a chance to shine and moving everything aroundimageimage

Well, Pammy, you can't be far from me. I always find the parking is awkward there, but they have good plants.
