Hello cut 3 lawns yesterday , hour and a bit bought some " after cut " lawn feed forgot to put it down
Bought 2 small clemaitis from Asad , going to do a clematis ball , that's a hanging basket with another on top and let it grow through , when winter comes cut it all back and store in greenhouse , had a beauty then when we had a really bad winter and it killed
Levered out an old conifer from a big pot and replaced it with a new olive bush - very hot position by our front door so I 'm hoping it will do fine there. Put the conifer on Freegle and had an offer already. Also got the hosepipe out and watered new potatoes just showing through and yippee - some asparagus shoots are showing
Am hoping for rain over the weekend - it's so dry here.
Normal lily beetle check and watering over newlylanted rose and buddleja. Have some seedlings showing through of my sunflowers and seedling of sweet peas in the house showing through so am pleased.
Hi Guys lovely sunny day not like the forcast finished decouching the long bed found a couple of Echinacea that have survived the thug invasion. Unfortunately I pulled out some allium clumps by mistake replanted can but hope. The chairman cut out coir liner for big wall baskets and sewed them into shape. So tomorrow we can spend time in the GH if they get it right and it rains the garden is very dry Ying and Yan
Replanted Eryngiums after fox had taken a liking to them. PLanted some more Borage and gave garden a good compost mulch. Found a few more Salvias that had been reduced to roots last year by slugs, the garden gods sure do work in mysterious ways. Pricked out and potted on some Birdsfoot. We'll see how many of them survive overnight
Come in for cup of tea. Have been weeding and edging, nearly finished the middle bed. There is now a big gap in the middle of it. Wonder what was there last year? Must look at photos. At least there is a home waiting for some of the homeless plants.
Must go and re-pot some tomatoes and sort out a cold frame - remove overwintered perennials, weed it (has sand on the floor) and put weed supressing fabric in it. Then I can get some annuals out of the GH to harden off. No frosts forecast for the next week and the CFs have lids anyway.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Into the garden late today but managed to pot up my big iris in terracotta pot and plant up the last border gap in a tranquil part of the garden, mulched mulched mulched, hopefully the mix of purple and white should be harmonious
Really tired today but OH tells me I've done too much again

Glorious day here in Kent, its been brilliant sun shine all day with light breeze, perfect weather to get things done:
Planted some violas by the front door, and some blue perennial cornflowers.
Fell asleep in garden and woke up at 5-30. rushed indoors to find it was only 4-30 !!
Spent the afternoon cogitating about what to plant, sitting on the patio with a glass (or 2) of wine
