Back breaking work clearing ivy from neighbouring garden in the flat I rent out. The last tenants pretty much wrecked the place and didn't touch the garden for two years so it's very overgrown. But amongst all the weeds and debris, the cyclamen that I planted in 2004 were flowering their hearts out.
I wonder if there are any horticultural students who I could rent it out too. Clean ones though - the last tenants were clearly averse to any kind of house work so much that the bathroom needs replacing.
obelixx Sounds like your surgery was worth it so you can do the things you love. I know what you mean about the heals. I've had RA for 12 years so they are out for me too.
Walk went well. About 2 hours up Kelston RoundHill (between Bristol and Bath). -1.5 when we started but no wind and sunny so very pleasant. Spent about half hour on top to take photos have drink and chocolate. Only 218m high but great views; north=the Cotswolds, east= Bath and Salisbury plain in the distance, south=Avon Valley then Mendips and west= Bristol, Severn Bridges and in the far distance we could just see the snow capped hills of South Wales. Had lunch in the pub. Well, we did leave the car in their car park Called into the GC on the way home for seed sowing compost
palaisglide My plate out op was very quick. In theatre about 9am, a bit woosey at first but ready to go home about 13:30. Hope all goes well for your daughter.
Thanks will pass on good wishes to Pamela who is out dancing tonight loose screw will be doing last waltz about now. Bitter cold though clear today, house full of family and dogs, no gardening nor tomorrow, will be cooking Sunday lunch and clearing up, cannot have my cleaning lady coming into a mess?
During my long sleepless nights, I've been doing a lot of virtual list writing.
Once I get my knee surgery next month, I'm going to crack on and make up for all the lost time from last year and catch up on everything which got left undone.

Frosty here for the first time this winter. 'Bout time too.
Sorry to hear your daughter has a screw loose, Frank. I have that problem too, but they've been rattling around in my head for some time.
