a friend of mine once ate 3/4 of a cheescake left over from the previous night and felt so guilty, she bought another one, ate 1/4 of it and told her hubby she'd left it so they could share it.
Spent the day in the greenhouse??? sowing and potting on wonderful day, no cheesecake but big helping of fruit cake and a cuppa in the garden shame tomorrow's weather is said to be mixed , we might be meeting baby daughter if so, will visit GC but she loves the beach so could be fishy and chip lunch
Got my hollw tine fork out and proceeded to use it on my lawn. I then made up some top dressing of sieved top soil, grit and silver sand and placed it in the holes made by the tine fork. This will hopefully improve the drainage and promote new growth to the lawn. I then re- aerected the lawn by using a spiked roller This was hard work but hopefully the result will be seen when my lawn starts to respond positively to the maintenance work done today
Sowed a few cerinthe and put some rose cuttings in potatoes. Not tried rooting them in spuds before so I wonder if it will work. That's all I had time for before going to the office then didn't finish until 9pm tonight so that was that
