Took a few more Salvia Hotlips cuttings before breakfast. Dead headed some violas and filled up some watering cans as the water-butts were over flowing.

Mum's garden today. Deadheaded the roses and started cutting down those with no viable looking buds. Fought with moss, this is an eternal problem in both gardens (on soil, no lawns on either.). Dad had four containers with bulbs sunk into a gravel area. I didn't touch them last year, as I wasn't sure how far on he'd got with his bulb planting, so I started digging out one of them to see how deep it was and what was in there. I didn't get to the bottom of the container, so pretty deep, but found a huge number of daffodil bulbs, many of them multiple. Split a lot of them and replanted them, layered dwarf iris over them and planted some violas meantime. One down, three to go! Have acquired a lot of daff bulbs by splitting.image
