Only work done was deadheading daffodils.  Neighbours (away on their narrow boat) seem to have thousands!  Back at college this week so no gardening until the weekend (sigh...)

I made a window for the back end of the hot tunnel. I've fixed a mesh screen with with a "window" which can be opened to let heat out / air in when it's too hot, or closed to keep the heat in when it's cold.

I also got a couple more clematis planted and topped up the planters ready to be filled.

OH is actually getting into the weeding. Suits his OCD to have everything spotless and perfect.

Had to visit B&Q first thing and came home with some lovely salvias image

Then it was out in the garden to plant 3 separate iris and one shrub followed by a fair amount of mulching.

Also arrange plants in a bare patch to decide on the planting combos...I may yet change my mind image

    Gorgeous hot day, no complaints

Removed garden furniture cover and cleaned , now drying on washing line , does that count as gardening ?

by the way put some horticultural grit around Hostas to stop slugs

cut the grass, got it down to 5 hours. I'm getting good.

OH did another day of weeding. Methinks the bug is biting.

After 5 hours , it kinda wasn't fun, I have to say. But it's looking good.

it's not been "mown" in 3 years. The last two we've had sheep and they're not very thorough so lots of little hummocks, which I'm trying to take down a bit each time.
