Today I have dug and manured a bed for my early potatoes, cut back the old canes on my blackberries, cloched a row of strawberries and planned what needs to be done next.

It feels good to have got that much done but my goodness I ache now image

We had quite heavy snow today & it was real brass monkies out there - so I stayed in & made soup & shepherd's pie.

Opened my Feb issue of GW & read a couple of articles while drinking tea. Don't think that counts but my heart was outside image

Bought some hellebores and irises  today.  And made a list of flowers for the cutting garden.  Does that count?  Going to treat myself to a heated propagator tomorrow.

GWRS and nutcutlet. I've torn the cartilage in my knee cap. Crutches help in all ways, physical, psychological and emotional, they are crutches.

Hostafan - if it's not to late, have a great holiday and good luck with the crutches.
