Ooops - sorry / manners etc image - Hello Rosy and welcome to the forum. Everyone is bit bonkers on here so (if you think you are mad) you are in good company image

    Enjoy the banter...

    Welcome Rosy.

After a hideous start to my day ( backed out of having a molar filled as the dentist came at me with the needle  image ) I bought some seed potatoes. and a max min thermometer. Then two very exciting things: 1, finished my propagator bench and I've just come back from collecting a garden shredder I got on freecycle.

I'm a total wimp Dove, I know that.  If the tooth hurt, I'd maybe have had it done, but it doesn't.

Hostafan I also bought seed potatoes and a max min thermometer at the weekend.  we've not had one before.  OH is enjoying giving me regular temperature updates and comparing it with the temperature on the car!

Ashdale - Santa was kind enough to bring me one of those weather stations with a couple of remote sensors - has provided much entertainment so far (we gardeners are easily pleased aren't we?) and it's lovely lying under the duvet and reading that right now it's -5C in my garden.

So possibly no gardening after all - have sent hubby out to get some frosty sunrise photos of the abbey ruins instead.

Santa brought me one of those too Topbird - I'd asked him for a rain gauge but you know what he's like ... I'd also asked for hand cream and he delivered face cream - I think he's getting on a bit image
