In response to Palaisglide, hello Frank! As this forum is run by Gardeners World mag,I guess I originally thought the subjects we could chat about would be connected to gardens, i e wildlife, and the other headings we regularly see now. Maybe I didn't delve deeper, or was afraid to introduce other unrelated topics.
The only bit tha offended me was the bit regards work, and this is why, like many on here I had a holiday/Saturday job until leaving school at fourteen. I worked until I had time off for my children.I then had to go back out working until I retired.
I now hav e grandchildren and still don't get much time off but I don't mind.so I might post on here regularly but it's " me time " which I think I have earned.
That said cowslip , I must agree with whoever said your thread attracted a good response !
And look forward to seeing your other threads of interest , you can post them in here , throttling shed .
As far as posting often goes....mobile devices are fab, i often post from the docs waiting room or on the bus, i learned so much from this forum about all sorts of things, and the people are wonderful, ive made some great friends

Well, I have just added a marker for where I am, no trouble.
Thanks for that Edd - I think I'm on there now - and my fingers have warmed up again so I can get back to another 10 mins in the garden
no I don't think so - it wasn't there just now - better pop out again and check!
Thanks for your help though haven't yet worked out how to put the garden in France on as well!
Sorted, Edd.
