Hi Marion hope you are well, lovely pictures by the way : ), did you enjoy your bungalow pie?.

Feeling so tired after only three days of work, I've been labelling scripts from 8.30am until 5.30pm, my eyes where going blurred, back ache and sore ankles : (, anyway I've got four days off now whoopee! : ).

Can't believe how much my radishes have grown in 5 days, I will send a picture soon : )

Pampered radishes, flumpy.  I guessed you would be very tired starting back to work again.  We had a very wet dreary day in Bristol today and it is still raining so I am expecting lots of rainwater in my butts tomorrow morning.  Reading your post again makes me think you have not got an ergonomically sound working environment.  If you work for a big firm it would be in their interest to make sure their employees can work comfortably without backache, eyestrain or sore ankles.  Otherwise they will have the cost of sick leave to suffer.  A well designed workplace does not cause those pains.

Hi Marion, I work for a large pharmaceutical company, since I've worked there they have halved the staff in all shops, they don't care as long as the money is in there pockets Marion, sad really, I would rather work for a independent company as they look after there staff image, raining cats and dogs here Marion.

Morning everyone. Cold frosty and non rainy day here. Still snuggled down inbed for a bit longer. Well done with the radishes Flumpy and sorry to hear about the aches and pains after being back at work for a few days.  Hope next time it's a bit better for you. Have you tried special shoes for when you're on your feet all day. Not trying to tell you things you've already thought of, but my friend who has just been visiting, had a similar problem in his job at a large hardware chain where he was on his feet all day. His Dr put him on to some special shoes (expensive) and he said that it helped enormously. Just hoping you can find a better solution.image

Hi Pat it was my ankles and back that where aching because I was stood in one spot on a hard floor for eight hours and warm, if I was moving around it wouldn't of been as bad, I'm off now for four days : ), going to check on my Radishes and see how much they have grown : ).

It's wet and grey in the NW and forecast is more rain right through to next week : /

Morning Marion, what you up to today?

Morning flumpy and evening Pat!  We had some rain through the night by the looks of my damp garden but it is dry out there now and no rain forecast till the evening so I should get more work done on my new perfume garden today.  Shortsighted of your firm flumpy not to look after the health of their workers, especially if they have spent money on training them.

Well Marian, I started a technician course to further my career, six months into it head office stopped it because they said to many people where dropping out, I was fuming as this would of given me the right points to work in either Newzealand or Australia ( my dream), but I'm keeping on a look out for jobs while I'm working (biding my time).

Hope it stays dry for you Marion, it's stopped raining here but very wet, going to have a nice breakfast now mmmm what shall I have : )

When I was one years old we where meant to move to Newzealand and run a B & B next to a lovely lake, but when my mum and dad found out the nearest school was 40 miles away they pulled out, but I've always wanted to know what life would of been like, I have five cousins in Aukland NZ and another cousin in Perth who is married with grown up children now, if I won the lottery I would take my mum,dad and brother : )
