Morning Marion : ), it's still raining here but no floods thankfully, seems to be Cumbria that have been affected the most, hope they are all ok, my cousin and family live just near the lakes.
What are you up to today Marion, any baking?, my mum was making xmas cake yesterday mmmmmmm : )
I think those eyelashes are called cilia, flumpy. Glad to see you still have electricity. Lots of people do not. A few more hours of flooding still to come as the water drains off the high ground I'm afraid. I am making some soup to freeze today to use up the last of my harvest of veg. Hoping to get some gardening in too.
We had three power cuts two weeks ago until 7.30pm, so it was candles all round , it was caused by some cable underground, I would like to be in Cumbria right now, right before christmas too .
your soup sounds very nice Marion, I love love just chucking all veg in it smells so good
I think you meant "not" like, frumpy! You can edit your posts right after if you click on bottom right corner. Those poor people will not be straight for months if not years.
A dry sunny mild calm day forecast for Bristol so should be able to get some work done up the garden. The next few days are forecast as similar too. I do hope it is going to be a spell of fine weather up north as well. I remember stripping all my spare blankets off my spare beds to take to our clinic for the appeal they had for te people of Wales who had bad floods. I do hope the charities will have a national appeal to help the present victims of the weather. I remember the many acts of kindness when the Somerset Levels were flooded.
It really is extremely mild outside today . As I have now filled the green wheeliebin to bursting I will get some planting done after coffee break. I will take my camera out too as the birds and squirrels are keeping me company and lots of things are flowering.
Hi Marion, lovely flowers looks like you have been having fun, weather in NW was nice and sunny today, but it's back to normal tomorrow rain, feel sorry for them in Cumbria : (
Hello GWRS : ) hope there's no floods where you are?

Such fun with my camera but no wildlife would oblige by standing still long enough. One of those days!
As ever nice pictures , yes mild hear to , mountain of paper work to do , then meetings
So no gardening for me
Feel for the people in Cumbria affected by flooding
