I'm glad you had a good Open Day on Wednesday. You have a lovely garden.

I've been busy again, having had my Open Day, I held a Strawberry Tea today for a cancer charity, 40 people came, was quite hard work but I had a good team of helpers.

Another wet morning so I am really relieved the gods were shining on me last Wednesday.  It has been cold since then and blustery and wet.  Forecast is for warmer weather from Thursday next so perhaps flaming June  is on the way.  I may get some more plants in the ground in the afternoon.

It is so nice to get some feedback, Busy-Lizzie and Maureen and of course flumpy.  I do enjoy showing you all what is giving me great pleasure in my garden and the bristol Botanic Garden and my friends' gardens too.  I enjoy the Forum very much.

    Good morning Marion.

I think lots of people read your thread but look on it as being your thread so they don't post anything. I won't be posting soon as we are going to New York, leaving Tuesday. OH's choir has been invited to sing in Carnegie Hall on Sunday. I hope the housesitter waters my pots and the tomatoes in the GH, a heatwave is forecast here.

Oh my goodness what an honour for the choir.  How lovely.  New York will be very hot too.  We are having warmer weather at the end of next week but a lot of rain too.  Bribe the housesitter with a promise of some plants and tomatoes!

Dodged the showers to take some pictures.  Glad to see Rosa "Matisse" has lots

A small Bramley apple has a late single blossom for company.  The  tree must have been groaning as it is laden with hundreds of apples already getting ready for the June drop.

Ho Marion the flowers are gorgeous, my rhododendrons in the front garden are just getting big pink buds, can't wait for them to flower.

Hey Marion hope you have your sun hat ready for next weekend because it's. Going to get very hot : )

I have three very nice straw hats, flumpy.  Yes heatwave from Thursday on.  Lots of visitors today but they did the washing up and one brought  a film i really enjoyed called "Argo".  I will have to catch up with my planting tomorrow.

    Thank you Flumpy.

That's a lovely clematis Marion. Could it be Dr. Ruppel?

France is meant to be having a heatwave from Thursday too.
