When I was studying in Pittsburgh USA I was amazed to see spring burst forth in the city with forsythia in bloom in almost every front garden. It was still a very drab sooty city then because of the steel mills and the clean yellow of their flowers was such a treat..
Glorious weather for gardening and I am having fun taking cuttings for the conservatory where I have cleaned another two windows. Just six more and the door and patio doors to do. Twelve years ago when I had it built I used to do it all in a day but now I take it easy over a week as there are so many heavy pots to move. Took some pictures where i am working.
Cheerful isn't it, GWRS? £1 seems to be spreading from the Pound shops which are everywhere. I paid £1 for a month's trial as a Premium consumer of the Secret Gardening co for September. They have Anne Swithenbank and Christine Walkden answering questions this month and an hour's talk from each of them, rare plants for sale every week and another 10% off their usual prices which are over 50% off the normal price anyway plus free Pand P too. All for a pound and the best cared for plants I have ever bought. Certainly great bargains available for gardeners this year.
Hi to everyone. It's been raining on and off all night, so there isn't much can be done outside today. I've been enjoying looking again at all the photos and it's so nice to see everyone's purchases and gardens. I can't get over your energy Marion, cleaning all those windows!

Spring, yes. Prunus in flower in village and wattle on surrounding hills. Amazing transformation in such a short time. Have a good day Marion.

I'm waiting on my Pinoaks to perform their annual magic, most of all. The forsythia is slowly starting too. The Pittsburg experience sound lovely.
