Oh my goodness I  have opened the parcels that came before Xmas and my garden is well - catered for this year.  A bug hotel. a botanical tray, stripey amaryllis, thermal socks, garden therapy sign and two lovely books including our Carol's "Making a garden" plus lots of lovely food including a hamper full which I can plant up when empty with soring flowering bulbs and plants.

TY Verdun - it is my pleasure.  More presents from my family after Xmas dinner -  white hyacinths, red roses in my Xmas bouquet, lots of films for when there is nothing on the telly, lovely warm sheepskin lined slippers and lots of wine and goodies to eat.

Hello Pat.  So sorry about the fires in Victoria .  Lightning can be so destructive.  Boxing Day is so mild here I will be able to get out in my garden for some fresh air and perhaps a little work.  I too am looking forward to growing and writing about all my new plants.
